2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Communication Data: Messages you send to our support team.

2.2 Information from Amazon Selling Partner API

When you authorize our application through Amazon's OAuth flow, we receive access to the following data from the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API):

  • Seller Account Information: Seller ID, marketplace IDs, business name.
  • Catalog Data: Product listings, ASINs, SKUs, titles, descriptions, images.
  • Pricing Data: Current prices, competitive pricing, Buy Box information.
  • Offer Data: Offer listings, conditions, fulfillment channels.
  • Order Data (if applicable): Order IDs, order items — used only for pricing analytics. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from orders (buyer names, addresses) is handled in strict accordance with Amazon's Data Protection Policy.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps.
  • Device & Browser Data: IP address, browser type, operating system.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the RePricer Service, including syncing your Amazon catalog and processing price updates.
  • To execute repricing rules you configure.
  • To display analytics and reports about your pricing performance.
  • To communicate with you regarding your account and support requests.
  • To improve and optimize our Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your data based on:

  • Consent: You explicitly authorize access to your Amazon seller data through Amazon's OAuth flow.
  • Contract Performance: Processing is necessary to provide the Service you subscribed to.
  • Legitimate Interests: Improving our Service, ensuring security, and preventing fraud.
  • Legal Obligation: When we are legally required to retain or disclose data.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Amazon: Price updates and listing modifications are sent back to Amazon via the SP-API on your behalf.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services for hosting (cloud infrastructure), email delivery, and analytics. These providers are bound by data processing agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We never share Amazon SP-API data with unauthorized third parties, and we do not use Amazon data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

6. Data Retention

We adhere to strict data retention policies in compliance with Amazon's Data Protection Policy (DPP):

  • PII from Amazon Orders: Deleted within 30 days after the order's latest delivery date, unless longer retention is required by law.
  • Non-PII Amazon Data: Retained for a maximum of 18 months, unless required by law for a longer period.
  • Account Data: Retained for the duration of your active account. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days.
  • Communication Records: Retained for up to 12 months for support quality purposes.
